Eather Server Rules


Note: These rules apply to GM/MOD as well as normal players.

When reporting somebody remember that without screenshots or videos as
proof, nothing can be done.


1. No cheating or hacking AT all.

This includes:

a) The modification of any server files.

b) The use of any external program to gain an unfair advantage.

c) The use of external objects or hardware to gain an unfair advantage
(this includes macro keys on a G15 keyboard, which WILL be picked up by the AHS).

d) Automating any task such as picking up bags, using medicines or
using skills such as splashy ice.

If you are found to be in breach of this rule, the following procedure will take place
before you are permanently banned.

i) You will be spoken to in general chat by a GM or MOD.
ii) You will be PMed by a GM or MOD.
iii) You will be teleported to another location by a GM or MOD.

iv) You will be given a total of 10 minutes to respond.

If you do not respond within that period of time you will be permanently banned.

No matter what the reason.

e) The exploitation of bugs/glitches in the server.

f) Any other method of gaining an unfair advantage.

g) Knowing that somebody is hacking/cheating.

If you are aware of hacking/cheating and fail to report it you are considered as an
acomplice and will receive the same punishment as the perpetrator.

The punishment for cheating or hacking is a permanent IP ban.

(Changing your IP address will not work.)



2. English in shouts.

While there is a vast array of languages spoken by the Eather community,
the shout channel is a general chat for all members and to keep it this way,
we ask that you restrict shouts to English only.

If you wish to speak another language feel free to do so in
the other chats.

If you are in breach of this rule you will be given a warning.

If you continue you will be kicked from the server by a GM/MOD and if
you continue after that you will be banned for 3 days.


3. No racism or discrimination.

Racism is any derogatory reference to another persons origin.

Discrimination is any derogatory reference to another persons skin
colour, sexuality or other trait which may tie that person to a
particular class or minority group within society.

Calling someone "gay" is NOT discrimination.

Making fun of somebody for being a homosexual IS discrimination.

If you are in breach of this rule you will be given a warning.

If you continue you will be kicked from the server by a GM/MOD and if
you continue after that you will be given a permanent IP ban.


4. No scamming.

Buying an item that is underpriced is NOT scamming.

Scamming occurs when somebody STEALS another persons items by
lying to them or making false promises.

A GM/MOD will never ask for your account details.

There is no rule against sharing accounts, however if you are scammed
it is your own problem.

Scammed items will NEVER be returned so do NOT trust
other players.

The punishment for scamming is an account ban.

Repeat offenders will recieve a permanent IP ban.


5. No server to server trading.

Trading between Eather and other private servers or the
international servers is against the rules.

The only trading that is allowed is between Eather's two servers.

Titan and Paradise.You may advertise your trade ingame, however
all trades that are done between these servers must be done via the forums.

If you make a trade outside of the forums, you do so at your own
risk and any lost or stolen items will not be replaced.


6. No rebirths during Guild War.

This rule only applies to those participating in the war.

If you are in breach of this rule you will be instantly given a 3 - day ban.


7. Do not attack GM/MOD characters.

GM/MOD also should not attack you.

If you are in breach of this rule you will be kicked, and if you
break this rule repeatedly you will recieve a permanent account ban.


8. Do not PM AdminDarKZONE/AdminMissy On ANY of their Char's or DONATIONS.
unless they PM you first.

If they are ingame they are ingame to Relax / Test an

update / To inforce rule's / etc. ONLY pm them if some one is in
breach of these rule's


9. Do not PM GM/MOD for trivial issues.

Trivial issues include anything that is not against the rules.

Asking how to do quests, asking when donations will be done (they

do not know) or just to chat to them.

A first offence will lead to a kick from the server, a repeat

offence will receive a 24-hour ban.


10. Listening to GMs and MODs.

They are there to keep the peace. If you disagree with them, make

a post on the forums under the Thread I disagree with and it will be

sorted out.

Disobeying a GM/MOD will result in a warning, followed by a kick

from the server and then a 3-day ban.

11. Guild Conduct

Guilds are what make up the game, its what the game is about

Guild/alliance leaders you basically have the power use your new hero
powers for good not evil.

If you can stop guild to guild feuds then help us by
kicking members who are trouble makers etc, this may be harsh but it’s what you
would do on int.

This is purely down to you but remembers if you think you can help us out then please do so.

12. Drama

Everyone’s favourite subject, anyway we would like to avoid drama in the server,
not only does it mess up the game it makes people think badly about us.

As the gm team we need to keep some sort of code of conduct.
We don’t like to see people arguing if it can be avoided.

Remember kids play this game also and you never know who anyone really is.

What I’m trying to say is please be nice towards other people,
the team care allot about ES and the way its run.

The biggest problems in any game are the dramas if we can avoid it please do so.

(This is not so much a rule but a personal request from me, but if anyone does step
out of line and a Gamemaster, Mod or Admin asks you to stop then please do so
or u will be kicked and banned if needed.)


13. Money Trading

We do not allow items or accounts to be traded for Real money, if we find out this has happened your account will suffer a perm ban.


14. Raid Bosses

Raid bosses are not allowed to be lighted from safe zone. If caught you will be removed from the server until such time as that Raid Boss has been killed.


15. NO SafeZone Attacking

Attacking from safezone to weaken a mobe is not allowed.( This is where you can attack the monstor but the monstor cant attack you.) This is classed as a bug and abusing this will get you a warning first then a 3 day ban.


16. Account Sharing/Selling is "NOT" Allowed

Anyone found Sharing/Selling accounts with anybody, will get that account in question permanantly Banned and we will not recover lost or stolen items/chars etc.

Account sharing is a serious issue. We tried stopping you guys from doing it, boy that was fun, anyway here is the last edit of this rule.

you also basicly give people your items if you dont know them, dont let them use your account. There has been a lot of "my friend hacked my account becuse I gave him my username and password", you have to remember there is nothing to say he wont give out the account id and password. And with out the above information if the account gets banned then it stays banned. As we will not be held responsible for lost items/chars/money/eggs ect ect, if you do share your account. Just be warned
